formerly the Gwinnett Fine Arts Center
The Jacqueline Casey Hudgens Center for the Arts, formerly the Gwinnett Fine Arts Center, was given this new name in January of 2000 as a tribute to benefactor Scott Hudgen's wife Jacqueline.
The Center is owned and operated by the Gwinnett Council for the Arts, a privately owned, non-profit Georgia corporation. The Council opened the 14,000 square foot first phase of the Center in January of 1993, under the name the Gwinnett Fine Arts Center. With the opening of the new Children's Arts Museum addition, the Center was completed and christened with its new name.
